Matt Stone began his martial arts training in 1985 in Omaha, NE. Over the years he has studied a variety of martial arts - Xingyiquan, Baguazhang, Taijiquan, Modern Arnis, Jeet Kune Do, Wing Chun, Hung Gar Kuen, Aikido, Systema, and Modern Army Combatives. He served in the US Army from 1987-1990, and again from 1995-2015, with two tours in Iraq. In 2013 he found his final teacher, and in 2018 was accepted as an inner-door disciple in the Chen Pan-ling family lineage.
Currently, he lives, works, trains, and teaches in Enumclaw, WA.
